How many projects or systems do you have in your brain right now that you want to implement into your business?
How many of those systems projects have you had in your brain for longer than one month?
Chances are, that thing you want to implement has been on your to-do list for some time. As time goes on, it just continues to loom over your head. You think about it, spend some energy on it, and talk about doing it someday. But as the weeks pass by, you realize it still hasn’t happened yet.
Getting Started is the Hardest Part
For my team, One + Company, this has been an issue around recruiting new agents. We’ve talked about implementing systems for recruiting for way too long. We’re actually getting to the point where now it’s becoming a necessity, with the number of leads that we have. I know I need to do it. The team knows we need to do it. But we’re not getting it done.
Why not?
It’s because when you wake up on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, you’ve got Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday problems. You’ve got fires to put out, or kinks in the system that you have to address.
Stop Overthinking
Sometimes we all just overthink the implementation of the new system. We try to make it too grand, too big, too perfect.
By simplifying, we can implement every single system that we’ve been thinking about doing for a long time. Narrow the new system down to three steps, and begin.
We finally just did that with our recruiting plan. For the next 30 days, we’re are focusing on three things. We’re going to run Instagram swipe up ads. We’re going to do a webinar and we’re going to run Indeed ads. And that’s it. 1 – 2 – 3.
Start Doing
Implement NOW: put 3 steps on paper, commit to it, and go!
Determine how you are going to break your goal into three steps and over the next 30 days. From there, you can monitor and grow the system. Business is the one area where you can set up on the beginner level and get expert results. So, start small, implement, and keep leveling up.
1 – 2 – 3 Go Do!
