We all went into survival mode at some point last year.
As entrepreneurs, we evaluated our business plans and goals, cut out spending that wasn’t essential, and pivoted our business models to get through uncertain times. Most real estate entrepreneurs were fortunate, as the housing market was strong for the second half of the year.
Now, the question is:
What actions do you have to take to not only survive, but to thrive in 2021?
What 2020 Taught Us
If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that anything can happen. Even with expert predictions for a strong housing market in 2021, we know that change can happen at any moment.
We also learned that we are capable of quickly adapting in order to keep our businesses alive. It’s been more challenging for some than others, and many industries remain in need of additional support. As we move into this new year, we know that we can adapt to whatever happens.
Planning to Thrive
For those exiting survival mode, it’s time to plan to thrive in 2021. With the knowledge gained from last year, how can you adjust to dominate this year?
When you look at where you want to end up and who you want to become, start tailoring your days to meet that vision.
What actions do you need to implement? What do you need to start doing on a daily basis to move you closer to your goals?
Along with thinking about what actions you need to take, consider what you need to stop doing.
What are you doing that is no longer contributing to the best version of yourself? Quitting something is the gateway to expanding your life.
So ask yourself, what do you need to start, and what do you need to quit?
