Welcome to the opportunity era of our lifetime.
I’ll start by saying that large scale opportunities like this come with heartbreaking challenges and negative aspects. I’m not minimizing that. We have a lot going on in our world right now, and if I could, I would get rid of all it and make sure every single person is healthy. We could go back to January and February, where things were rocking and rolling.
But that is not reality.
If we’re going to look at this as entrepreneurs, as real estate professionals, we have to look at it through that business mindset. There is no greater opportunity than when things become difficult.
Don’t Hide
Most of the people you compete within your market are going to hide for the next 30 to 60 days, or more. There’s going to be a lot of people who give up and hide from all of the things that we, as entrepreneurs, need to do, which is to communicate at high levels with our customers and with those in our sphere.
Stay Grateful
As business owners, we are in a better position to get through this, then any past business that had an opportunity era like this. We have a massive head start because of technology.
You can shoot a video at 8 am and reach thousands of people going live in split seconds at no cost. You can call, FaceTime, Zoom, and send video messages. Continue to remind yourself how lucky we are in the way we get to communicate with one another throughout this.
Keep Innovating
We absolutely need to social distance, protect ourselves, protect humanity, and protect life.
But we do not need to be silent.
We do not need to stop innovating.
These are things we have to do. We have to rise to the challenge as entrepreneurs and business owners. I actually have found the last three weeks with the new challenges more exciting. My days are flying by.
There are new challenges every day, which means there are new ways to innovate, pivot, and make moves every day.
I want all everyone to realize how big this moment is.
If you look back in time, when these opportunity eras presented themselves, companies were born that became giants for decades to come.
Are you ready to rise up and accept this challenge?
