|This week, Byron sat down with the top 15 Phoenix Realtor, Shannon Gillette. Shannon boasts an impressive track record, going from barely graduating high school to closing just over $55 million in real estate in the last year. The pair discuss the prominence of real estate teams in today’s market. Speaking on her reluctancy to go from a single agent to a team, Shannon said:|
“For years, I told myself I didn’t want to have a team, and I could do this by myself. But I got to the point where I was working seven days a week, and my clients weren’t always getting the best experience because I’m only one person. I still had all the excuses in the world for why I shouldn’t grow. We’ve just opened up interviews to the public for a spot on our team for the first time ever. It’s hard when somebody else is representing a brand you’ve worked so hard to build. So I’ve been getting over my fear of bringing on the wrong person. At the end of the day, I’m just so much happier now versus when it was just me, and I definitely have a better quality of life.”
