As real estate professionals, we don’t sell people’s homes. Nobody has ever sold somebody on a home that they never wanted to buy.
We navigate the middle of the transaction.
We solve people’s problems.
Now, as we face what we thought was going to be a robust spring market, we are faced with the realization that these times will be more challenging than ever before. Many of us thought this spring would be an easy time to be a real estate agent, and seemingly overnight, that reality changed.
A difficult spring market offers more problems to solve.
That’s what we do.
We bring people information. We guide them to sell or buy based on their own decisions. We negotiate for their best interests.
There’s a lot of fear, uncertainty, and volatility right now. Most people have less money today than they did two weeks ago.
With this in mind, know that there will be fewer deals. There will also be more problems. It’s going to become harder.
If there are 50% fewer deals than there would have been this spring, that means you are going to have to work twice as hard. The hardest working people will continue to lead.
Keep in touch with every single client and lead. Let them know you are available to continue working hard and solving problems. Get creative in your operations – almost everything can be done virtually.
It’s your job to show up for the people who need you, solve problems, and connect with community.
How are you uplifting your local community right now?
