It’s time to think bigger.

Bigger than you ever imagined.

And if you pay attention, the inspiration to think bigger is everywhere.

A Simple Email

Every week, I get emails from an individual where I grew up in Connecticut. It’s somebody who came from absolutely nothing and worked ridiculously hard to get where he is today. He owns tens of thousands of multifamily doors, and some other businesses.

Every Monday, he puts together some thoughts or snippets of things that he’s seen: motivating quotes or little bits of information to send out to his email list. Staying inspired or motivated, especially during challenging times, can be difficult. So when you find something that inspires you, take a moment to really let it sink in.

Recently, one of his emails caught my eye. In it were these six sayings that resonated with me about thinking bigger and putting in the work:

If someone offers you an amazing opportunity, and you’re not sure you can do it, say yes, then learn how to do it later.

Always say YES. As you dive into the opportunity, you will learn more than you ever could from reading books or listening to podcasts about it.

The distance between your dreams and reality is called action.

Most people don’t realize that their dreams don’t have to remain dreams. Those who are willing to put in the work every day create their reality.

Most people do not listen with the intent to understand, they listen with the intent to reply.

I’ve been talking to my team about this a lot; listening to your clients and consumers. If you are really listening to understand, you know it’s hard work, but it builds trust.

The best math you can learn is how to calculate the future cost of current decisions.

What are you willing to give up to achieve your goals? How are your current decisions that you’re making right now compound in the future?

A negative mind will never give you a positive life.

There will always be challenges and setbacks in life, but having a positive mindset will help carry you through.

Work rarely, if ever, killed anyone.

It’s worry that does the damage, and the worry would disappear if you just settle down and do the work.

Where do you get inspiration to think bigger?
